Gregory De Wayne "Boomer" Wells is a former professional baseball player. Wells played Major League Baseball for the Toronto Blue Jays in 1981 and for the Minnesota Twins in 1982. Wells also played Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Hankyu/Orix Braves/BlueWave and Fukuoka Daiei Hawks between 1983–1992.
